Syllabus and requirements for Pronunciation Exercises 1A


Tasks:

-          study individually this following book and practice all the sounds (especially pay
attention to minimal pairs):

o   Tree or Three? An elementary pronunciation course (Second edition) (2006). Baker, A., Cambridge
University Press.

-          keep notes of words you used to mispronounce + the correct pronunciation you have learnt

-          think of a creative activity you’d use in a classroom to teach the children
pronunciation

-          at the end of the semester of during the exam period, come to the evaluation (send me an
e-mail to confirm the date) with all the completed tasks – you’ll also be asked to read aloud some
minimal pairs and a brief text
