This week we revised all the sounds we have covered - the whole phonemic chart.
Please go through all the chapters (and preferably the exercises) to revise the sounds.
Some suggestions for revision:
- say the sound and write the sign
- while watching your favourite film/tv series/programme or listening to a podcast/song... take a minute to focus on a specific pronunciation issue (e.g. the word endings)
- print out the past tense cards (double-sided) and test yourself
- find an app for learning English that works for you and that includes pronunciation / phonetic transcription
- talk to your classmates about pronunciation
- pick a song/book/poem for children (one we did in class, one from the suggestions in the interactive syllabus or one of your own) and practice pronouncing certain words of your choice (remember: listen - lip-sync - read - record yourself)
