ASSESSMENT SHEET E FALL 2012 Assessment: Peer 1 You assess presentations you were present at (not your own). 2 You scale them from best (80pts) to worst with min. - 1 pts diference between them if you heard 14+ presentations, - 2 pts difference between them if you heard 11-13 presentations, - 3 pts difference between them if you were present to 9 or 10 presentations, - 4 pts difference between them if you witnessed 7 or 8 presentations, - 5 pts gap if you heard 5 or 6 presentations. 3 Your criteria are - the presentation: how new, useful and memorable you found it for your speaking practice - preparation: how innovative you found methods of presenting facts and strategies of retaining skills; effort invested in rehearsing Overall assessment: STUDENTS AVERAGE + FINAL TEST - ABSENCES: 3 pts if away on business, advertized prior to class 4 pts for personal reasons, adv. prior to class 5 pts if unexcused or missed presentation date.
