Sunjatsen, Čankajšek, Mao Zedong a Deng Xiaoping - dějiny, politika, ideologie v Číně
ve 20. století

Od konce 19. století procházela Čína bouřlivým obdobím, během kterého hledala své budoucí
politické a ideologické směřování. Cílem kurzu je studenty seznámit předními osobnostmi
čínské politiky, kteří se zcela zásadně podíleli na formování státní politiky, ideologie a tím i
dějinného vývoje. Během kurzu bude detailněji představen osobní život vybraných politiků,
Sunjatsena, Čankajška, Mao Zedonga a Deng Xiaopinga, a jejich ideologické názory, které se
významně podílely na soudobých čínských dějinných meznících.
China had been going through a turmoil period since the 19th
century. During those turbulence
decades Chinese policymakers, philosophers and thinkers were looking for future political
and ideological approaches that would solve Chinese problems. The goal of this course is to
introduce the main Chinese leaders and politicians - Sun Yat-sen, Chaing Kai-shek, Mao
Zedong and Deng Xiaoping - who formed China’s development in the 20th
century.
Kurz je založen na intenzivní četbě a diskuzi v hodině.
Pozornost bude věnována především následujícím okruhům:
- osobnímu životu a událostem, jež formovaly Sunjatsena, Čankajška, Mao Zedonga a Deng
Xiaopinga
- ideologii a osobní filozofii jednotlivých aktérů
- ideologický dopad na konkrétní dějinné události
Na konci tohoto kurzu bude student schopen:
- orientovat se v hlavní ideologických směrech 20. století v Číně
- na základě nabytých znalostí interpretovat tyto události v širším společenském a
politickém kontextu
- popsat životní cestu a politickou kariéru Sunjatsena, Čankajška, Mao Zedonga a Deng
Xiaopinga
- popsat proces převzetí moci v Číně Komunistickou stranou Číny v čele s Mao
Zedongem a analyzovat specifika čínského komunismu

Hodnocení kurzu:
Kurz je zakončen kolokviem.
• Písemný test skládající se z cca 20 otázek a odpovědí s výběrem z více variant;
požadovaná úspěšnost 70 %.
• Prezentace v hodině
Splnění těchto dvou podmínek znamená udělení zkoušky. Při nesplnění některé z těchto
podmínek vyučující může povolit alternativní ukončení předmětu (v případě závažných
důvodů) – zpracování seminární práce na zadané téma a dle zadaných parametrů.
Materiály určené k práci na hodině budou studentům až na výjimky zprostředkovány
elektronicky. Většina materiálů je v angličtině, menšina v češtině.

highly accessible and helpful for students to making sense of Chinese history from a
comparative perspective. They will help to shed light on some challenging topics, such as
how the changes at home in USSR and Japan had an impact on the making of modern
China, which we won’t have time to cover in the class and could be developed by students
into interesting final papers.
