I attended both Dr. Zsuzsa Koltai’s lectures. It was really interesting to listen about new innovations in museums and how they try to attract everyone with many projects. What I was surprised with was dementia programs for older people. It is very interesting that museums try to help people with this kind of disease. Also amazing was innovation where we can feel the museum with all our senses like smelling, tasting etc. Also I noticed that technology has a big importance in museums. Many apps and multimedia guides were invented. In the second lecture I found the most interesting what functions were before 18th century. The representation of power or protection against evil were fascinating. It is interesting to see what people thought about art or artifacts. I think that interpretation was used in those lectures. For example downloadable apps, guides or digital story tellings in many languages are some kind of an interpretation. Also for example showing local traditions or folklore are interpretation of local city or country. This were my thoughts about lectures and if interpretation was there. Adam Bartalský
