The Ellen DeGeneres talk show is the the most watchable one in the United States as well as in the
world. Giddy success and stable top-rates are explained by two main factors: the host, Ellen as she
is, and entertaining approach to the conduction style and the quest choice. Equally to famous

Before praising Ellen, I would pour the light on her past. In early years after graduation Ellen
struggled to find her place in life permanently changing jobs and undergoing existential crisis. On
the verge of depression she decided to try herself in comedy and that was the moment of truth. Not
long after a tour of successful performances she was invited to Hollywood to star in tv-series
Ellen where she got the lead role (interestingly, of herself). However, the life and popularity
couldn’t make her truthfully happy until she committed a coming-out about her gay nature on Orpha
Show. A consequent gap in career lasted for 3 years when she lived in obscurity but consoled by her
brave act. The change came when Ellen was invited to host a talk show. In the beginning, no one
believed in purpose of the enterprise but commitment and enjoyable pioneer format soon made The
Ellen Show one on the most viewable in the country.


Now she is famous producer, actor, writer, ambassador and activist, television host and comedian
who has won tons of national awards and audience acknowledgment. Her life experience and honesty
not only brought her fame and recognition but also made a role model for many people hiding their

Along with that, the show is approachable for a wide audience of all ages, races and genders. Ellen
doesn’t make an exclusion for her guests. That provoked the saying that she has the most loyal and
active audience of all other shows. And she appreciates that by inviting people from different

What made me really touched is the fact that Ellen created her own Ellen family. To commemorate the
most loyal members she endows them with their own nameplated seats in the audience.


Recently I binge-watched some of my favorite moments of the show, and the best are the ones where
Ellen invites young talents or heroes and the recollection of her best pranks and jokes.


In summary I would reiterate the pivot impact Ellen and the show have on the mind of the society.
She sets an example of charitable nature, encourages people to perform benevolence and motivates
the positivity to rule the life.
