Practical Course
What is needed to complete the course?
• attendance: maximum two absences (one can unexcused, the second
must be excused)
• protocols: prepare individually; please, submit regurarly every week
1) name, surname, date, topic of the exercise
2) brief introduction
3) detailed calculation and evaluation of data
4) interpretation and discussion of results
• short test at the end of semester
Safety First
• follow the safety rules and do not hesitate to ask!
• report any injury
• no need to change your shoes or wear lab coat
• gloves will be available for each practice
Pipetting
• accurate measurement of liquid
volumes
• always pay attention to the
correct range (it is more accurate
to pipette in the upper half of the
pipette's indicated range; never
pipette outside the range!)
• use only correct tips
• tip replacement
• accuracy and good pipetting
