About the course:

- this is a course aimed at students of geography at approx. B1 level

- the course helps prepare for JA001 exam (a compulsory language exam in the bachelor programme)

- the first two sessions will take place face-to-face in the classroom, there will (hopefully) be two more contact classes

- most of the work will be done online on MS teams in the regular time slot

CREDIT REQUIREMENTS:

- attendance

- completed assignments on a regular basis (all the information in the interactive syllabus)

- major assignments: 

  • formal email
  • vocabulary glossary based on a video/podcastshort presentation
  • summary of a video/podcast (deadline 31st Dec, odevzdavarna)
  • written reflection on one´s learning (approx. 150 words, deadline 17th Jan, odevzdavarna)
