This course offers a comprehensive exploration of the Procedural Law of the European Union (EU) with a particular focus on its application by national courts. Students will delve into the procedural aspects involved in the implementation of EU law at the national level. Key topics include the multi-level architecture of the EU judiciary, the preliminary ruling procedure, as well as direct actions. In addition, the course includes a study visit to the Court of Justice of the European Union, providing students with a firsthand experience of observing EU procedural law in action. Through practical exercises, case studies, and the study visit, participants will develop the necessary skills to effectively navigate and apply EU procedural rules within national court systems.
