About the course:

- this is a course aimed at students of geology at approx. B1 level

- the course helps prepare for JA001 exam (a compulsory language exam in the bachelor programme: https://www.sci.muni.cz/o-nas/organizacni-struktura/oddeleni-centra-jazykoveho-vzdelavani-na-prirodovedecke-fakulte/zkousky)


CREDIT REQUIREMENTS:

- attendance (you can miss 2 classes)

- completed assignments on a regular basis (all the information in the interactive syllabus)

- major assignments: 

  • formal email 
  • vocabulary glossary  based on a video/podcast - 10 words (https://ucnmuni-my.sharepoint.com/:w:/g/personal/12880_muni_cz/EaAXW-v91xhLiBVi8YmVZi0BBz7NjsNMYlLjTlSq93lePw?e=T9sz9F)
  • short presentation (in one of the classes)
  • summary of a video/podcast 200-250 words (31st Dec)  
  • written reflection on one´s learning progress (10th Jan)
