The International Perspectives of Media Studies Experts
We are pleased to invite you to the course The International Perspectives of Media Studies Experts. Its purpose is to offer a platform to international cutting-edge experts in various fields related to media studies.


For fall 2023, we will present you with at least three experts in journalism, media studies, or contextual fields. The dates of the lectures will be announced at the beginning of the semester.

To pass the class, you must attend the class (attendance is checked) and write an essay on one of the presented topics (Times New Roman, 10000 figures minimum, at least six academic sources).

Dr. Marina Levina is a Professor of Critical-Cultural Studies in the Department of Communication and Film at the University of Memphis. She is an author of numerous books and articles, including Monster Culture in the 21 st Century: A Reader (Bloomsbury Academic Press, 2013). She is a co-editor of Horror and Monstrosity Studies Book Series from the University Press of Mississippi.
