- the aim is to improve students´ academic speaking, listening, reading and writing skills as well as awareness of a variety of education-related topics

- it helps prepare for the compulsory JA002 exam

Credit requirements

- attendance (you can miss 2 classes, no excuse needed or wanted)

- regular class assignments

- credit assignments:

• presentation on an inspiring personality from the history of education - what can we take away for our teaching? (8-10min., solo or in pairs, min. 2 English sources)
• essay (based on your presentation personality):  Standing on the shoulders of giants: Why X is an inspirational thinker for future teachers (300-400 words), deadline 11th January 2026 (folder Essays)
