Intimate partner violence (IPV), which encompasses physical, sexual, financial, and emotional abuse in a dating or partner relationship is a serious and prevalent issue that social workers needed to respond to the abuse. This course provides students with an in-depth examination of the dynamics of abuse and social worker responses to the phenomenon of intimate partner violence.
