Interactive Syllabus

Course Objectives:

To introduce students to the fact that the health care system is a complex system whose proper functioning requires knowledge of management, economics, law and legislation, and information on many other areas.

Learning outcomes:

The student will be able to: 

Explain the concept of public health care;

Knows the basic theoretical background and practice of public health;

Is able to understand global and national health policies;

Organization guidelines:

The lecture includes 15 lessons and it is connected to Introduction to Public Health - a seminar

Assessment methods

80% active participation in lessons. Absence is excused only by the study department, according to the LF MU (https://www.med.muni.cz/studenti/omluvenky). In the case of an excused absence, the lecturer will appoint a substitute.

Final online test (75% for passing)
