C5160 Physical chemistry - laboratory exercises
The subject C5160 Physical chemistry - laboratory exercises is recommended to English speaking students at bachelor level of educations specialised in chemistry. The course provides students who attend physical chemistry lectures to extend their knowledge and to gain skills when working with simple chemical instrumentation. An important learning objective is to imprint students the skills they need for qualified and responsible laboratory work. Emphasis is placed on data collection using device/computer interfaces and improving the level with which the students present their results.

The students make their registration to the subject and choice the seminar group for English-speaking students according to the rules of the "Study and Examination Regulations" through the Information System (IS) of the Masaryk University (MU). This "Interactive Syllabi" is an important part of teaching the subject C5160. The web pages of the interactive syllabi serve primarily to simplify the administration of the subject, to deliver the study materials for students, and to help the students in home study for upcoming laboratory task.

The student are obliged to also registrate the subject C7777 Handling chemical substances.

The subject is taught according to the timetable of lessons in the room of Physical Chemistry lab (room: UKB A12 / M213).

The Schedule of the tasks during the semester for individual students can be found here.
