Welcome to English for Geographers III,

This course deals with topics related to geo-sciences. See the syllabus on the right, and under each week you’ll find a handout ready for downloading and guiding you through each seminar.  

This course is designed to help you prepare for the JA002 exam. We’ll review key grammar and vocabulary, and you’ll learn how to:

• ✍️ Write a compelling presentation abstract
• 🗣️ Deliver a clear and engaging exam presentation
• 💬 Use strong argumentation in academic debate

But that’s not all—we’ll also step into the world of job applications in your field. You’ll get to:

• 🎭 Play both the job candidate and the employer
• 🧠 Practice expressing your experience and skills
• 📄 Polish your CV and write a persuasive cover letter

By the end of the course, you’ll be confident not only in your academic English but also in presenting yourself professionally.
