LLL plan description
- Presentation of the LLL plan (learning objectives)The course is designed for mentor teachers who aim to effectively support pre-service teachers in utilizing feedback as a key tool for student learning development. During the four-hour session, we will focus on different forms of feedback, their impact on student motivation and learning, and strategies to guide pre-service teachers in providing constructive and meaningful feedback. Participants will analyze specific teaching situations, discuss approaches to working with errors, and reflect on ways to support pre-service teachers in effective communication with students.
- Target groupQualified teachers who wish to undertake the specialized role of a mentor teacher.
- Learning Outcomes
Participants characterize different forms of feedback, analyze their impact on students' motivation and learning, and apply them in evaluating specific teaching situations.
Participants design strategies to support pre-service teachers in providing constructive and meaningful feedback that fosters active student learning.
- Occupational Profiles of GraduatesA graduate who completes the course fulfills part of the required 20 hours of annual continuing education, which qualifies them to serve as a mentor teacher in a specialized position.
- Admission conditionsOnly teachers who meet the legal requirements for mentor teachers and who work at a faculty school of the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University are eligible for the course.
- Course of educationThe mentor teacher carries out at least 60 hours of activities beyond direct teaching over the course of a year. Of this, 20 hours are dedicated to continuous professional development, with this course accounting for 4 hours. The course is delivered in the form of a seminar/workshop.
- Conditions of graduationActive participation in the course.
