Abstract

The aim of the course is to recognize and validate students' competence in foreign languages, primarily English, but also other important languages that increase the employability of graduates in the field of adult education and human resources development (typically Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian). In this sense, the subject replaces the obligation to take one subject in English. It is also possible to enrol in a course if the student has completed the course in English, but is also competent in one other language.

Learning outcomes

After completing the course, students will be able to:

  • use appropriate terminology when describing adult education;
  • interpret the role, context and organisational structure of adult education.

The course is automatically recognized for students who have completed a study or work stay abroad (not Slovakia) for at least three months. In this case, it is sufficient to provide an adequate document.
