Course objectives
The aim of the course is to guide students through argumentation to develop their own thinking about real issues related to the state final exam, beyond mere memorization of facts. Attention is focused on questions from the first and second areas, particularly topics related to Czech educational policy, socialization in the family and school, and inclusive education. Each topic is taught using the same method, which is argument-based teaching that involves group work, discussion, and subsequent reflection by students. By the end of the course, students are able to think comprehensively about the topics and engage in discussions about them.
Learning outcomes
Upon completing the course, the student will be able to:
Critically evaluate selected pedagogical topics and discuss them knowledgeably
Utilize the argumentation skills acquired in the course, which are useful for discussions (not only) on selected pedagogical topics

Seminar, Group Work, Discussion, Dialogue, Reflection
Assessment methods
Teaching is conducted in the form of seminars, which require active participation from each student in group discussions. Worksheets created for the course serve as support for these discussions. Requirements:
