Course objectives
The aim of the course is to give a brief panorama of Spanish poetry from Romanisticism to present days.

  • 2. Modernism and symbolism. Rubén Darío and Juan Ramón Jiménez
  • 3. Vanguardism and "Generation 27"
  • 4. From Pablo Neruda and Miguel Hernández to the social poetry
  • 5. The "Novísimos" and renovation of Spanish poetry
  • 6. Contemporary Spanish poetry
