Course objectives
At the end of this course: -- a student acquires global overview of human morphology and physiology -- a student comprehends and can explain the context of chapters dealing with ontogenesis and phylogenesis -- a student comprehends and is consequently able, in natural sciences subjects, to teach holistic conception of human body and laws which function in human organism and support its nonproblematic existence. -- a students prepares his/her own report and by its presentation he/she is able to better remember the theoretical knowledge from the Human Biology, even more the student acquires didactic skills and competences which are necessary for his quality teacher´s performance.

Teaching methods
The course gradually presents all human body systems and all phases of human ontogenesis and phylogenesis. The course consists of experiments which illustratively present selected functions of particular human body systems. Also the human body models, including the construction ones, will be used, as well as other demonstrative aids, mostly special videogames. Students will create methodical materials.
Assessment methods
Credit course. Every student prepares one demonstrative and special presentation (with use of appropriate illustrative aids chosen by him/herself). In this presentation a student explains one chapter from human biology. This chapter will be selected by the student from a set of 60 topics prepared in a database.
Language of instruction
Czech
