- Course objectives
- The course builds on the knowledge and experience of the participants acquired during the study of school pedagogy, general didactics and didactics of health education 1 and 2. The mission of the course is to initiate, support and develop the professional vision, knowledge and action of future health education teachers. The course focuses on the development of teachers' professional competences, mainly by working with a specific health education topic and its didactic transformation.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon completion of the course, the participant is able to: - apply knowledge from general didactics and other pedagogical-psychological disciplines and didactics of health education 1,2; - didactically transform the topics included in the framework educational programme; - analyse inter-subject links; - prepare and implement health education teaching; - analyse and evaluate health education lessons; - define specific problems of teaching health education in primary school; - use activating teaching methods in health education.
- Syllabus
- 1.-3. Analysis of the health education textbook in the context of the educational field of health education (objectives, outcomes, curriculum) and its evaluation. 4.-6. Didactic transformation of a selected thematic unit (curriculum in the Framework Educational Programme for Primary Education). 7.-10. Reflection of the created material and implementation of the selected topics in practice.

- Teaching takes the form of webinars and independent work.
- Assessment methods
- The participant didactically transforms a selected topic from the Framework Curriculum for Primary Education - Health Education into five teaching units (or a project). The participants present the material created in the group, reflect and discuss the presented topics. The semester assignment is part of the participant's portfolio in the field of didactics.
