At the end of this course, students should be able to:
evaluate the importance of natural, cultural and historical conditions of tourism;
use, analyse and interpret data about tourism in Czech Republic;
explain economic impacts of tourism;
understand Tourist Satelit Account
assess the causes and consequences of regional differences in spatial distribution of tourism in the Czech Republic;

  • Analysis and assessment of natural resources (methods, data, interpretation of results)
  • Tourism and nature preservation (system of nature preservation in Czech republic, sustainable tourism, ...)
  • Analysis and assessment of culture and historic resources (methods, data, interpretation of results)
  • Analysis and assessment of accommodation (methods, data, interpretation of results)
  • Analysis and assessment of the other tourist infrastructure (transport, sport equipment, information center, ...)
  • Second home in Czech Republic
  • Tourist land use and the time and functional typology (land-use planning and tourism, Defert function, ...)
