- Abstract
- This is an elective course, where the student acquires pedagogical and/or teaching competence. The specific activities are given by the responsible teacher/lecturer.

- After completing the course, the student will acquire skills needed to be able to perform teaching and pedagogical activities as specified by the supervising teacher.

- Approaches, practices, and methods used in teaching
- It is a course without lectures, seminars or lessons. The course consists of activities, tasks and/or processes which are related to pedagogical and/or teaching outcome. For example: running seminars or tutorial classes, laboratory classes (supervising experiments, demonstrating procedures), student consultations (office hours, helping students with assignments, guidance related to a given course), supervising bachelor or similar theses, supervision of semester projects, assessment of homework assignments, preparation of quizzes, study materials, problem sets and exams, occasional guest lectures, development of teaching materials, teaching assistance during seminars or lectures, managing course web-site and discussion forums.
- Method of verifying learning outcomes and course completion requirements
- In order to pass the course, the student should prepare a short report for the corresponding teacher. The report should list activities, tasks and/or processes which were part of the course and that should be related to pedagogical and/or teaching outcomes; broadly defined. Evaluation is given by the corresponding teacher.
- Alternate completion
- It is possible to enroll and pass the course during any of the semesters of the EFIMA study programe.
