Course objectives
The aim of the course is to get students acquainted with the methodology of the thesis writing. The student is able - with the assistance of the supervisor - to formulate research project of the final thesis, present the thesis as well as its contribution.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course, students should be able to: • - formulate thesis objectives and set proper research goals, • - choose relevant methods to work up the thesis, • - identify and summarize relevant information and literature sources,

  • The course is designed as students’ individual consultations with their supervisors with respect to the finalisation the official research project proposal.

Teaching methods
Individual consultations. Group seminar with thesis presentation and discussion.
Assessment methods
There are two requirements students have to fulfill: • (1) active attendance at individual consultations and finalisation of the official research peoject proposal of the thesis • (2) presentation of the research proposal and its defence.
