Course objectives
Macroeconomics II is an intermediate course in macroeconomics. It combines the neoclassical long run analysis of the economy (with the assumption of flexible prices) with the Keynesian analysis of the short run (under the assumption of flexible prices). The course consists of five basic budilding blocks: I. Introduction (data) II. Long run (equilibrium, consumption, open economy, inflation, unemployment) III. Very long run (Solow model) IV. Short run (ISLM model, ADAS mdoel, MF model) V. Macroeconomic policy
