Course objectives
The aim of this course is to make graduates of Biology Panorama I acquainted with actual know edge in interesting questions of today e.g. cloning, GMO, civilizing and epidemic diseases, genome therapy, evolution and future of Homo sapiens, toxicology and ecotoxicology.
Syllabus
  • DNA sequencing and genome mapping. Cloning. GMO. The influence of radiation. Human and medicine. Diseases of civilisation. Gene therapy. Epidemic diseases and natural selection. Genetic consultancy. Variability and adaptability. Evolution. Current humankind and its future. Population growth. Toxicology and ecotoxicology. The research in CBIA FI MU.
