Course objectives
This course is intended as a comprehensive overview of the crisis management in the security sector. Main objective of the course is to explain contemporary conceptualization of crisis management in the science and in the official and legislative context.
Learning outcomes
Students should be able to use scientific knowledge of crisis management in the resolution of security problems.

Societal and economic conditions of crisis management; 5. Crisis management in the government and territorial self-government; 6. Economic measures in crisis management in the CR; 7. Population Protection in the CR; 8. Financing of crisis management in the ČR 9. Crisis management in the EU; 10. Crisis management in the NATO; 11. Crisis management in the UN; 12. Crisis management in the international structures. 13. Final summary

Teaching methods
The course takes the form of both lectures and seminars. There are explained basic thesis of crisis management within lectures, which are further discussed during seminars with experts.
Assessment methods
Students will receive a final letter grade (A-F) for the semester based on the following components: written reports (max. 12 points), written review (max. 12 points), written exam (max. 36 points). Grading: 56-60: A; 51-55: B; 46-50: C; 41-45: D; 36-40 E; 35-0: F.
