Course objectives
The introductory proseminar focuses on the formulation of the topic and thesis of the bachelor's thesis project. Part of the proseminar is a joint introductory workshop, which introduces the rules for the writing of bachelor's theses and on which the supervisors present the themes they lead. Students then choose their supervisors under whose leadership they formulate the preliminary topic of their bachelor's thesis.
The output of the proseminar is an annotation of the topic of the bachelor's thesis, which includes (1) a basic analysis of the theoretical and methodological knowledge and skills necessary for the elaboration of the bachelor's thesis and (2) a framework plan for the study of seminars for the bachelor's thesis and other compulsory elective courses corresponding to the topic of the bachelor's thesis.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
- formulate the basis of the theme of the bachelor's thesis,
- create a study plan corresponding to the topic of the bachelor's thesis.

  • 1. Introduction - the rules of bachelor thesis subjects and schedule of bachelor thesis writing.
  • 2. Types of bachelor theses and their structure.
  • 3. Presentations of the supervisors'.
  • 4. Choosing a supervisor, submission of a brief annotation of the bachelor's thesis and study plan.
  • 5. Participation in bachelor thesis defence.
  • 6. Signing to the topic of bachelor's thesis in the IS.

The credit is conditional on (1) selection of the supervisor of the bachelor thesis, (2) submission and acceptance of the annotation of the bachelor thesis project and (3) participation in the defence of the bachelor thesis.
