- Course objectives
- At the end of the course the student should understand the European system of human rights protection at both the national and international (ECHR) level; the student should be able to present a reasoned analysis of a human rights case; the students should understand the basic case-law of ECHR and national courts related to human rights issues; the student should also understand the different approaches that the courts adopt while dealing with the cases; the students should also gain basic understanding of the jurisprudence and approaches of the African, American, Asian etc. courts.
