Course objectives
The main aim of the course is to start the independent creation of the text of the thesis, first by formulating the introduction of the thesis, setting the objectives, research questions or hypotheses. Then to follow up by creating the main body of the thesis in accordance with the set assignment, and using appropriate sources. A sub-comprehensive part of the text eligible for consultation will be created, as determined by the supervisor or in agreement with him/her, as a basis for the completion of the full text of the thesis and its submission.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to: - formulate an introduction to the thesis, including the objectives of the thesis, research questions or hypotheses, - start independent creation of the text of the thesis, based on the set assignment, - use the knowledge from the feedback and recommendations provided by the supervisor of the thesis during consultations, - create a comprehensive part of the thesis according to the agreement with the supervisor, eligible for consultation at the end of the semester at the latest.
Syllabus
  • 1. Writing the introduction of the thesis. 2. Starting the creation of the thesis text according to the set assignment, using literature and other sources. 3. Consultation of the introduction of the thesis. 4. Consultation of the complete part of the thesis as determined by the supervisor.
Teaching methods
Individual consultations according to the schedule. Consultations are focused on the preparation of the introduction of the thesis, including the formulation of the aim, research questions or hypotheses, and the process of the actual creation of the thesis according to the set assignment.
Assessment methods
colloquium for participation in consultations according to the schedule, and for submission of the introduction of the thesis containing the aim, research questions or hypothesis of the thesis, and a comprehensive part of the thesis as determined by the supervisor.
