Course objectives
At the end of the course students will be able to: understand basic approaches to understand law (or legal science) by the arts; explain approaches to law and to critically analyze legal texts and legal practice; interpret some contemporary legal movements and approaches; use information about law not from legal documents; make decisions about position of law in society.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- identify and summarize important features of the field of Law and Literature;
- identify and describe current domestic and foreign trends in Law and Humanities;
- describe the factors that influence the reader in the interpretation of works of law on law;
- compare the differences between the relationship between law and art in different legal cultures;
- analyze and interpret works of art in terms of significance for law;
- to create, present and explain one's own artistic rendering of law.
