Course objectives
The course builds on intensive nursing care in pediatrics   I. The course is designed as a theoretical and practical unit. Students will gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills that are applied in the care     patients to resuscitation wards and intensive care units and are essential to the provision of nursing care   u ~ patients with organ failure. Part of the course is theoretical and practical knowledge of basic and advanced resuscitation. Teaching   critical care medicine involves the causes, diagnosis and treatment of the most common critical life-threatening conditions in   pediatrics. Teaching pediatric anesthesiology is conceived as a theoretical and provides basic information about     perioperative care in childhood
Learning outcomes
can provide basic life support (BLS), • Can provide extended life support (ALS) using the aids available in intensive care workplaces, • controls the performance of heart defibrillation by electric shock and stimulation of heart rhythm using chest electrodes, • Provides highly specialized nursing care to patients after cardiopulmonary resuscitation, • Controls the provision of breathing passages without aids and under the supervision of a physician and with the aids available in intensive care workplaces, • knows the specifics of oxygen therapy in intensive medicine and is able to apply it, • Can administer blood transfusion products and blood derivatives, • knows differences in basic life support, taking into account age categories,
