Course objectives
The surgical lectures in the 5th year have a selective character. The aim is to present chosen topic more in detail, with respect to its significance. The topics of the lectures are selected by lecturers of the following surgical specialities: neurosurgery, plastic surgery, urology.
Syllabus
  • Plastic surgery: Replantation and hand surgery, Reconstruction of the soft tissues in the extensive oncological surgery, Current possibilities in the aesthetic surgery
  • Neurosurgery: Intracranial expansion - imaging and surgical treatment, Head trauma and the intracranial hypertension syndrome, Intracerebral aneurysm and its treatment
  • Urology: Infections in urology Prostate carcinoma Erectile dysfunction

Assessment methods
Subject Surgery composed of Surgery I, Surgery II and Surgery III is concluded by state examination.
