Course objectives
Students will improve their communicative competence at the level of B2 + / C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Students consolidate acquired communicative competence (linguistic, sociolinguistic and pragmatic). Emphasis is also placed on developing intercultural competencies. The course is based on authentic materials. At the end of this course, students should be able to understand texts dealing with contemporary problems. Students are also able to apply all mastered grammar in practice.

Course objectives
Deepening the communicative competence of students. The supposed language level after passing the course is C 1 in both productive and receptive skills according to European reference framework for languages. At the end of this course, students should be able to: understand extended speech and lectures, articles and reports concerned with contemporary problems provided that the topic is reasonably familiar; interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity, take an active part in discussion in familiar contexts while accounting for, and sustaining, their views; write an essay or report, passing on information or giving reasons in support of, or against, a particular point of view.
