Course objectives
The course builds on the knowledge gained in the seminar didactics of music education for elemantary school and shows how to link music education components to high school music education. The aim is to teach students to functionally interconnect three interrelated areas of activity - production, reception and reflection that, together with other musical activities, lead to an understanding of the musical message.
Learning outcomes
Student can work with musical means of expression. He understands the issues of listening activities for young people aged 15-18 years. He creates a portfolio of methodological materials.

  • Position and aim of music education in high school. Teaching hours, the curriculum, curricular documents. The history of artificial and nonartificial music. Listening methodology in high school, connection with vocal, instrumental, musical movement. Project instruction in music education.

Course objectives
The course builds on the knowledge gained in the seminar didactics of music education for elemantary school and shows how to link music education components to high school music education. The aim is to teach students to functionally interconnect three interrelated areas of activity - production, reception and reflection that, together with other musical activities, lead to an understanding of the musical message.
Learning outcomes
Student can work with musical means of expression. He understands the issues of listening activities for young people aged 15-18 years. He creates a portfolio of methodological materials.

Course objectives
In accordance with current trends in education and education, attention is paid to non-traditional methods and forms of work aimed at the development of musical creativity and elementary music. Furthermore, emphasis is placed on the integrative concept of the subject, which contributes to the understanding of the connections between different types of art. The aim is to teach students to functionally interconnect three interrelated areas of activity - production, reception and reflection that, together with other musical activities, lead to an understanding of the musical message.

  • Sylabus: - Listening activities in the music education system - musical expression means - listening methodology - connection with vocal, instrumental, musical movement - musical activities - dance and movement education - folk dance, polka, menuet, mazurka, waltz, historical dances - in connection with   songs, listening song - instrumental activities - playing and creating instrumental accompaniments, simple arrangements - play and creation of simple instrumental compositions (musical phrase, small and large song form, rondo) - Orientation in graphics and graphical recording
