Course objectives
At the end of this course, student should be able to: - provide firts aid - interpret and describe human anatomy and body functions focused on child fyziology in detail - recognize the most frequent childhood illnesses - apply informations - understand specific child organism needs
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to: - describe basic risk and protective factors that affect the health of the child, - to know the basics of anatomy and physiology of the child organism, - to describe the physical and mental development of the child in individual ages, - Know symptoms of significant child health problems, - know the basics of epidemiology and prevention of major pediatric diseases, - apply basics of first aid in emergency situations.
Syllabus
  • Cardiovascular system, pulmonary system, intestinal system. Its structure, function and most frequent disturbances. To understand and recognize the most frequent disturbances in a structure and function and also its consequences for life is a main target of this subject. First aid.
