Course objectives
In the seminar, a number of literary texts will be presented. The topic of the texts will be "Life in a totalitarian society"
Learning outcomes
The students will be able to understand the principles of a totalitary regime and the role the literature plays in such a regime.
Syllabus
  • The selected texts will be published in the relevant course in the LMS Moodle. The link to the course will be announced in the IS. The students choose one of the suggested topics and examine this topic in more detail: Totality: fascist, communist Relationships, phases of life, loneliness Religious themes Historical topics German-Czech relations coping with the past Topics of literature after the fall of the Wall Novels of the fall of the Wall
