Course objectives
The course is designed as an introduction to theoretical and practical grasp of Russian literature which is an essential part of Russian culture, history, etc. The subject is considered as an introduction into critical thinking and writing about literature.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course, students will learn literary-theoretical foundations for self-reception, interpretation and criticism of literary texts using basic Russian-Czech literary terminology.
Syllabus
  • 1.Basic terms and literature for the subject. Specifics of Russian literature and its study. Periodization, currents and directions in Russian literature. 2.Literary genres. 3.Lyric literary genres. Verse theory. 4.Epic literary genres. 5.Dramatic literary genres. 6. Language means of literary text (tropics, syntactic and stylistic figures, etc.)
