Course objectives
Educational goals of the course are basic knowledge with an understanding of educational diagnostics with a focus on didactic diagnosis; There are the basic reproductive skills of application of the main types of teaching methods and diagnostic tools. The main content of education include concepts such as diagnosis and diagnosis; oral, written and experimental test; didactic test; observation, analysis of pupils' work etc.
Knowledge: pedagogical and didactic diagnostics; screening diagnostics; diagnostic requirements; oral and written exam; Experimental test; didactic test; observation; questionnaire; interview; Special educational diagnostic methods and tools; evaluation and classification.
Skills: to perform basic diagnostic activities; prepare and implement oral, written and experimental test; create, administer and evaluate didactic test; assemble and apply the interview; assess and classify pupils' knowledge and skills.
Attitudes: accept the importance of pedagogical diagnostics in education and training; learn the values ​​of objectivity and fairness assessment of pupils; recognize the ethical principles of pedagogy.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students should know and be able to:
- Create and apply basic pedagogical diagnostic methods and tools
- distinguish between classifying diagnostic constructs and assigning appropriate diagnostic methods and tools to them
- Accept and adhere to professional and ethical requirements for the development and application of diagnostic methods and tools

  • 1. Pedagogical and didactic diagnostics; diagnosis; diagnostic activities; evaluation; classification.
  • 2. Classification diagnostics; Pedagogical diagnostics; diagnostic functions; stage diagnosis.
  • 3. Requirements for diagnosis; validity and reliability; Classification of diagnostic methods and tools.
  • 4. Oral exam; types of questions and their work forms an oral exam.
  • 5. Written and graphical test.
  • 6. Experimental exam.
  • 7. Didactic test, standardization; creating items; design assay.
  • 8. Observation; structured and unstructured observation.
  • 9. Questionnaire; creation and evaluation questionnaire.
  • 10. Interview; analysis of pupils' products; portfolio; anamnesis.
  • 11. Special educational diagnostic methods and tools.
  • 12. Evaluation and Classification; summative and formative assessment; function evaluation.
