Course objectives
At the end of this course, students should be able to understand and be able to explain the interdependence between spatial distribution of the most important phenomena in human geography and to depict their global consequences. By using fieldwork, geographical texts, concept mapping, group work, class discussion etc. The student should be able to transfer the theoretical knowlege in everyday teaching practice at the lower secondary shool.

Assessment methods
The course will be finished upon the semminar attendance and upon the oral and written test based on the knowledge gained during the semminar. The instructional methods are following: lecture, class discussion, group (pair) work, working with texts, fieldwork, concept mapping etc.
