Course objectives
The main objectives of the course are the following: to deepen the knowledges about the possibilities of support and intervention by adult individuals with disabilities, mainly with severe and gained disabilities, to acquire knowledges about the process of aging and the support of elderly people, about the competences of workers in this working field.

  • aging process, specific aspects of work with elderly people, education of elderly people, life-long learning
  • sclerosis multiplex
  • paliative care, hospice
  • workers in social field and special education, competences
  • helper-syndrom
  • coma, coma vigile, care and support of people after cranio-cerebral trauma
  • adult person with inboren/gained diability, possibilities of care and support, integration, influence of the disability
  • dementia, characteristic signs, classification, Alzheimer disease, possibilities of care and support
  • Parkinson's disease
  • validation (method from N. Feil)
  • mental illnesses, possibilities of support, services
  • alternative communication – specific aspects of support of adult people or individuals with communication deficit after gained disability
  • psychotherapy
  • strategies of support of adult people with disabilities in the residential care
