Prerequisites
The prerequisite of the seminar is the knowledge gained in the area of the Portuguese linguistics during the bachelor studies.

The students should be able to translate various types of texts as, for example, journalistic, economic, diplmatic, judge;

As a result the students will be able to translate various types of texts.
Syllabus
  • 1. stylistic a textual linguistic; 2. the basic division of the texts types (according to the function linguistic); 3. analyse of the selected texts . journalistic, economic, diplmatic, judge; 4. passive and active translation of the selected texts.

Teaching methods
Theoretical part: reading of the linguistic texts Practical part:analyzation ot texts, translation and interpretation of the selectes texts.
Assessment methods
The written exam includes the active and passive translation of the texts that were analyzed during the semester. The student has to receive minimally 75% of the maximum of the points. Only that students that had a presentation in the class and that were only twice absent will be allowed to write the test.
