Course objectives
The Epigraphy course provides basic information about Ancient and Medieval inscriptions, the different types of inscriptions, writing and language which were used, the most important epigraphical monuments in our country and the principles for describing epigraphical monuments.

  • Development of inscriptions in the Czech Republic;
  • Principles for describing an epigraphical monument;
  • Access to epigraphical monuments
