- The course is taught in Modern Greek. Modern Greek literary texts are read and interpreted in the seminar. In the course of the seminar, students learn the principles of literary work with text and at the end of the seminar they are capable of independent interpretation of an assigned literary work. The list of literature changes every year, depending on the topic of the course.

- Course objectives
- The course is taught in Modern Greek. Modern Greek literary texts are read and interpreted in the seminar. In the course of the seminar, students learn the principles of literary work with text and at the end of the seminar they are capable of independent interpretation of an assigned literary work. The list of literature changes every year, depending on the topic of the course.

- Karyotakis and Karyotakism.

- Reading and analysis of chosen poems.

- The classes take place in the form of seminars. The first part will focus on the introduction into the prescribed issues and interpretation of the texts for which students prepare regularly, the other part will be dedicated to the students´ papers.
- Assessment methods
- Students get their credits for the interpretation of two chosen texts and oral examination in the scope of prescribed topics.

- Výuka probíha v řečtině. Cílem semináře je četba a interpretace jednoho nebo více novořeckých básnických textů. Studenti si v průběhu výuky osvojují zásady literarněvědecké práce s textem, součástí semináře je též prezentace referátů. Téma semináře, a tedy i studijní literatura, se každý semestr mění.
