Course objectives
The aim of the course is training the handling of difficult situations in instruction. The students register for this subject in the 2nd semester of their studies; concurrently they enrol in the subjects of pedagogics, psychology and general didactics.
Learning outcomes
The graduate is able to prepare thematic blocks of instruction following the modern didactic methods with the use of technology, work with the sources etc; is able to respond to pedagogically and didactically difficult situations related with the instructional process.
Syllabus
  • 1. Creation of a complex design of educational content for a given thematic block from Czech history.
  • 2. Reflexion of the collective memory tied to the theme, definition of the ethnic aspects of the theme.
  • 3. Identification of the controversial interpretational aspects of the theme, training of their management.
  • 4. Pedagogically and didactically difficult situations and their management.
  • 5. Discussions with the seminary group on alternative approaches to the interpretation of the theme and on didactically and pedagogically difficult situations.
