Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the autonomous musical culture in the former Czechoslovakia from 1972 to 1989. Part of the course is also commented listening to selected compositions.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course students will be orientated in the area of Czech musical culture after 1972. They will be able to identify musical tendencies as well as individual composing approaches. They will understand the structure of music and the social function of music.
