Course objectives
The work of librarians and information professionals is closely related to copyright. Activity in library and information environment is limited in other areas other acts will therefore be described, such as the protection of personal data. The objective is to provide a legal base for information workers, especially librarians.
At the end of the course the student will understand legislative restrictions on work with information, especially in copyright and he will be able to deal with simple legal problems in library and information practice.

Assessment methods
Attendance is required in terms for combined studies; between them it is only recommended. Activities on practice make important part of the final assessment.
Compulsory activity takes the form of a presentation of the legal dispute and a participation in the debate over other presented disputes.
The course also includes e-learning course in an Elf about the Copyright Act, it is necessary to pass the final test in the course at the rate of 80% or more.
Written test (2 parts: 1. theoretical, 2. solving of one example problem).
