Cíle předmětu
At the end of the course students should be able to:

understand the main points of clear standard speech on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc;
understand texts that consist mainly of high frequency everyday or specific field related language;

deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken;

deal with unprepared conversation on topics that ranged from familiar, of personal interest or pertinent to everyday life (e.g. family, hobbies, work, travel and current events) to specific topics (e.g. economy, drugs, critics of movies and perfomances);

present clear, detailed descriptions on a wide range of subjects related to fields of interest;

explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options;
Výstupy z učení
Student will be able to: - understand the main points of speech on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc - deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken - deal with unprepared conversation on topics that are familiar, of personal interest or pertinent to everyday life - identify a moderate number of character components and high-frequency characters in areas of immediate need - identify key facts and some details in descriptive material on daily life

lectures, class discussion, group projects, oral presentation, drills, homework, quiz&exam
Metody hodnocení
1) 3 absences allowed in one semester. In case of 4 or more absences the student fails. IMPORTANT: These 3 absences INCLUDE the joint course KSCB123 Chinese VI Seminar.
2) Students must not switch study groups, unless the teacher explicitly approved it.
3) Assignment: Student must hand in ALL of the homeworks. Homework which doesn’t match the regulations will be regarded as missing delivery. (Regulation: Homework should be handed in on time; only hand-writing is accepted). Small Tests: The average of score of ALL of the small tests should be at least 70%.
ONLY the students following the rules above are allowed to attend final exam. Final Exam: 70% and above: pass.
