- Course objectives
- Postcolonial migration in the Netherlands is the central topic of this course. An overview is given of migration from the former Dutch colonies, the Dutch Indies and Suriname, in the 20th century. We examine the integration of these groups of immigrants in Dutch society and discuss individual testimonies, in order to see this in a nuanced light. Attention is also devoted to the debate about migration and integration in the Low Countries-
